The footpath which runs from opposite Brook House to the level crossing, has been adopted by Essex County Council
Effective 8th June 2017.
Many years ago this land was cleared voluntarily by Jo Gardiner (who lived in Craigs lane)
to make it safer for pedestrians negotiating this dangerous road.
For many years Jo maintained the green by the level crossing together with this path.
It`s rewarding to see his work recognised.
